As Ise's body undergoes a painful transformation, two opposing energies—spiritual energy and demonic qi—coexist within him, granting him spirit sight that reveals the world in colored energy flows. When Ise finally opens his eyes, he finds himself surrounded by four senior figures: Kang I-tae, red-haired Hong Mi-hee, a muscular man in tiger-patterned clothes named Banho, and a familiar-looking female dokkaebi named Gong Wol-a. After Ise explains his situation and reveals his identity as Mongryeon's adopted disciple, Hong Mi-hee diagnoses his rare Heaven-Demon Dual-Meridian Physique, drawing greedy interest from the assembled Hall Masters. Banho attempts to entice Ise with promises of support if he joins Gujin Hall, prompting playful scolding from Kang I-tae. Ise timidly raises his hand to ask questions about his new abilities and his desire to meet the Great Exorcist Order Lord, leaving the assembled elders amused by his innocent yet profound inquiry.
