He is intercepted by a large group of masked assassins on the castle walls. Enkrid uses absurd, provocative logic to mock the assassins, claiming he was already stabbed by Jaxon to fulfill a contract, which infuriates the white-haired assassin leader. Using this distraction, Enkrid launches Whistle Daggers at the assassins. Jaxon, utilizing stealth artifacts to mask his presence, moves through the shadows to strike. He kills an assassin attempting to use a poison gas bottle and engages in a high-speed skirmish with the others, climbing the wall and leaping between positions. While the assassins are distracted by Jaxon's mobility and Enkrid's chaotic combat style, the two protagonists work in perfect synchronization to create openings. The white-haired assassin leader orders the group to prioritize Jaxon, noting that even if Enkrid reaches the palace, much greater threats await there.
