After asking why she doesn't just jump over them, he attempts a vertical jump but strikes an invisible ceiling barrier, triggering a regression to the start of Floor 2. Upon returning, he investigates the barrier with a local angel, learning it blocks heads and chests but allows arms to pass. He then encounters a Silver-grade climber who bypasses the thugs and presents his mark to the angel. Seeking information, Jun-ho approaches a local resident in cloth clothes, who explains the mark system: residents hand out Copper and Silver marks for trivial tasks, while Gold and Platinum marks require earning the recognition of the self-proclaimed nobles in their mansion. The resident warns against pursuing the nobles due to their rotten personalities. Jun-ho reflects on the suspicious disparity between the easy lower marks and the difficult higher marks, suspecting a hidden Diamond-grade reward or mechanic exists beyond the Platinum tier.
